First post since...the last one... Been busy pursuing what has been defined by the World as a B.A. in English Literature. It is actually both an enthralling pursuit in some places and a tedious one in others. The tedious part comes from the classes I have to take outside of literature classes. Poetry and Literature are the order of the day everyday in my college exploits, but I do have to take other "Gen. Ed" and "Required" classes...such as BioAnthropology and other such little class...
Blah blah blah!! LOL - GX
Discuss anything or ask questions? I will try to answer and discuss back. - Grim
I used reason in poetry By Count Xiozan Reading a poem I thought it would be more reasonable to reason with my mind of logic - alas my license was taken because the poetry made my logic ill so they thought I was illogical to endeavor in a such task - In the end- I reason - logic is - A Sin
Well History is sort of fun, though the tests in the class are killer, first part is a take home essay test, than the actual test is Multiple choice, coupled with short essay questions regarding identification of terms and answering short essay questions. Ugh! Literary interpretation is picking up but soon we will be moving from Poetry to Literature (Hooray I quite dislike Poetry: an artwork of some and a tool for fools) as we delve into Henry James's book "Turn of the Screw". As for th...
UPROAR!!! Well it is my second day of classes and the Literary Interpretation class is proving interesting as we start right off the bat with interpreting Poems, which for those of you who don't know Poetry is not my forte I prefer Philosophy and Psychology. Though once my thinking faculties are activated I begin to understand and see what is meant by some of poetry but alas finer poetic grasps evade the edge of my reasoning, philosophical and psychological thought processes, ah well. ...
Seasonal Job is over but right now I am busy with volunteering with the Red Cross and catching up on my philosophical / psychological reading: from Nietzsche to Plato, from Rand to Kant, from Jung to Reich, etc. So, besides that I have been withdrawn from politics and everyday current affairs because I am on vacation...HA! I know I was going to try to write something on Xiozan but with the fact that I am busy and reading up on the above I get too tired to think and write creatively en...
I may pop in a few comments here and there but don't expect any posts from your's truly because I am out for the rest of the week because I am tired and cranky, plus I think my diaper needs changing!! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!! Oh, I did finally get my new Laibach CD in today, Laibach's Anthems, good stuff for Laibach fans!! Also, picked up 'Blood of Heroes' (or Something something Jugger for those in Australia), which is a favorite movie of mine. Can't think of anything else...
After looking at myself and being busy both in a part-time job now and school I have not had the time before now to actually look at what I want to wear. So, from day to day I just slap on some clothes and head out, well I have been looking the past couple days online since the only supposed 'Goth' store that I know of around here is Hot Topic (good for humor shirts but that is it IMO). Insofar as I have been looking around online I just can't find that store with the right price and the rig...
Yes, people who have visited my blog may have noticed that I have not been keeping up with my fictional writing, not that the spirit is not there but the will has left me at the moment. I am currently in college, taking Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy classes that require me to type/write a lot, so the will to write my fictional writings has left me at the moment but I will attempt an endeavor at writing some fictional stories over the X-mas Break even if I have to drag myself through...
Anarchy, Fascism, and Communism To which group do you think I belong to or belonged to? (Hint: First Choice) Yes, I was an anarchist but currently am not one even though I like some of philosophy behind Libertarian Anarchism (a whole different breed than Traditional Anarchism). I was an anarchist in thought and word during my teen years along with being a person of ill-repute on the internet (not in a sexual way but in pir8 kind of way). The thing is people grow out of phases in...
Well some sad news first if you are waiting on my revision of Dream (Title WIP) than I am going to have to say you will need to wait sometime next weekend to see the revision because I have so much school work that needs to be done this week. On the happy side I am going to post all of my story ideas so far, tell me which ones sound interesting or something like that. So without further delay some of my story ideas: Xiozan T. Black (Series) | Science-Fiction - The stories of the ...
Came up with this idea whilst responding to a thread about Jebus Day. For those who don't know Jebus, I know he lives in a trailer park down off I-40 right across from Big Boy's and he is the son of Gawd Darnit. This is a proposition for a day in which we look back at famous gravediggers, celebrate their lives and contributions, than dig them up so they can celebrate also. Thus the name for the day is Gravedigger's Day. We could wear costumes, dressing up as our favorite gravedigger...
Well in an effort to be more a blogger, I thought first more information should be known about me. What's in a name? ShoZan. Most people probably think it is just something crazy and just nothing more than a weird name, why would he (yes I am a he) choose such an name. Well there's a story behind it and I will tell a little bit of it now. ShoZan is derived from the pronounciation of my oldest and most often used nick, a nick that I can trace back to using in at least '92 when I...
