Deeper into the mysteriousness of the mysterious mystery that is the mystery of the mysterious mysteriousness that is ShoZan

So, figured I would go more in depth to who I am.

My real name is Erik, or for the geeks ShoZan = Erik (ShoZan Offline)
Did say I was 23 years old, right? Well anyways my birthday is February and I was born in the year following 1980, but before the year 1982.

Forgive me if I repeat myself.

My goal in life as I should have said before is teaching English abroad, but mostly in Japan, like the culture and people.

A secondary goal that I usually keep hidden from the public eye is my ideas for stories, screen plays, etc., because you never know when somebody might steal the idea and make the money without giving you a share of that monetary pie, but I will be posting some of story ideas later, just in case somebody likes them and I can get somewhere with them, one never knows.

At one point in my life I wanted to be President of the United States, but since than I have grown to not like the pressure and hatred that person gets while in office, personally I think any President should be respected for that.

Women seem to only like me because the way I ea...anyways I am not your typical swinging bachelor, I just don't pick up girls right off the street like some guys do, than again I hate the cutesy wutesy nothing in life is wrong Barbie droids. Sounds like a good idea for a B Sci-Fi Movie, Attack of the Cutesy Wutesy Barbie Droids, but anyways I digress from what I wanted to type about.

What are my views on Death?

I believe death is the welcomed friend at the end of journey, whether he comes early in life or late, as long as he does come to one, he should be welcomed, for a world without Death, would be a world in which people aged and never die, were burned to death, but never die, etc. a world without release. That's why I view immortality as a curse that I would not wish on anybody, because it would turn your life into a lonely existence, outliving others, knowing no release, accumulating memories, never forgetting, eternal torment.

Why a Gnostic?

Well, I am not a diehard fan of Gnosticism only that it provide a better path for someone than blind faith, and I am also a bit Chaos Theorists, whatever suits my goal, and also a bit of a scientist, though that doesn't necessarily make me a bad person nor do I condemn any other religion, as long as that religion does not seek to suppress other religions.

I can't think of anything else to type at the moment so if you are reading this, which I find more often than not, most don't, please feel free to ask me questions about myself, etc. and I will try to answer them to the best of my knowledge.

As Above So Below,
ShoZan

ShoZan,

Nice to make your aquaintence.....

My goal in life as I should have said before is teaching English abroad, but mostly in Japan, like the culture and people.

Actually my Brother teaches English in Japan...he's been there for two years or so and apparently they are always in need over there.....and they prefer it if you don't speak much Japanese to begin with......The company he was working for to begin with is called Nova I think ...you may want to look it up.......I don't think its too hard to get your foot in the door.

Wise choice I think........it would be an awsome responsibility .....making desicions for millions of people.....and it's never the 'rose coloured glasses' vision we often see in the movies.

Ahh...I guess you'll come across a lot of like minded people here......what is your genre..?

First working on an Bachelor's in English, probably Linguistics, with a Teaching English As A New Language Certificate, and it's a good thing they prefer people not to speak much Japanese, because I know only a few words from my failed attempt at trying to learn Japanese through Pimsleur 1, partially due to the fact lost interest because I have no correct gauge to know if I am learning it correctly, so I stopped.
